Integrated Drug Test Cup x 25 (8 PANEL) This drug test is a convenient, rapid, and reliable method for detecting the presence of 8 different drugs in urine. We now offer 8-in-1 drug testing kits for discreet and quick delivery.

The 8 drug multi-panel with integrated cup will test for the presence of the following drugs in human urine:

  • Amphetamines (Speed)
  • Benzodiazepines (Valium)
  • Buprenorphine
  • Cocaine (Crack)
  • EDDP
  • Opiates (heroin)
  • Marijuana (Cannabis)
  • Methamphetamines

Accuracy: This test is highly accurate, meeting the standards set by the U.S.A's SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) and the recommended levels by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).

However, please note that there is a possibility of false results due to the presence of other substances in the urine. Substances such as Codeine (found in medicines like Calpol and Benylin) and Morphine (found in Co-codamol) may give a false positive result for opiates.

If you are conducting the test on someone, it is advisable to ask them if they are taking any prescription drugs for medical purposes when the test is being carried out.

Drugs in the Workplace: Drug misuse can affect an employee's performance at work, even if the usage occurs outside of the workplace. As an employer, it is your responsibility to ensure that your employees are not endangering others or the general public by using drugs of abuse.

Legalities: For employers wanting to test their staff for drugs of abuse, it is crucial to have a policy in place that warns employees about possible random drug tests. The use of drugs in the workplace or being under the influence of drugs while working should be considered a dismissible offense. Staying up to date on the latest government legislation regarding drug testing is also essential. If an employee has a drug problem, it is important to provide support and encourage them to seek professional help. If drug abuse is a common issue in your workplace, consider implementing a drug awareness program for staff and managers.

Test Procedure: Because of the sensitive nature of this drug test cup, it is vital to take precautions during the test to avoid contamination and ensure accurate results. Please read the instructions carefully before starting the test.

  1. Open the bag containing the plastic drug cup and remove it.
  2. The person being tested should urinate into the drug cup, making sure the specimen reaches the minimum fill volume line on the test label. The label of the drugs cup includes a temperature bar; the urine temperature should be between 90-100ºF. If the temperature bar does not show a green color, the test may have been tampered with.
  3. Secure the cap onto the cup by screwing the lid on firmly.
  4. On a flat surface, insert the provided key into the bottom of the cup and push it in firmly to fully close the cup.
  5. When ready, peel off the label to view the results. Results can be read after 5 minutes and up to 8 hours after the test was carried out.

Results: Read the results of each strip individually and independently.

Each strip on the drugs cassette has two letters: 'C' for the control band and 'T' for the test band.

  1. A pink-colored line should appear on each strip's control band (C), confirming that each strip has worked correctly. If no line appears in the control band (C), that strip has not worked properly.
  2. A second pink-colored line, no matter how faint, should appear in the test band (T). This indicates a negative result. If a second line does not appear on a strip, it means that strip has tested positive for the drug of abuse specified on the label above the strip.

Remember, a negative urine sample will produce 2 lines, and a positive urine sample will produce only one line in the control band (C).

What should I do with the results? If you obtain a negative result, the person tested currently does not have any of the tested drugs of abuse in their body. You may want to re-test again in a month's time. If you obtain a positive result on one of the drug strips, a drug of abuse has been detected in the urine. You may want to conduct another test later or on a future date to confirm the result.
