The bacteria test checks for total coliform bacteria, commonly used as an indicator of general water hygiene. If a positive result appears, the presence of E.coli can be confirmed using a UV light (sold separately).
Please note: Results for nitrate and nitrite are shown as Nitrogen (N). To convert: multiply the nitrate value by 4.4 for NO3 mg/l and the nitrite value by 3.3 for NO2 mg/l.
