The presence of non-visible blood in the stool may indicate the onset of CRC. With the One Step screening test, you can, within 5 minutes (test time without preparation) safely determine whether occult blood is in your stool. Especially after the age of 45 year, a regular check-up is recommended.
FOB Rapid Test Cassette detects human blood in faeces. The amount of blood increases as CRC, ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures progresses. Many diseases can cause hidden blood in the faeces. This is also known as Faecal Occult Blood (FOB), Human Occult Blood, or Human Haemoglobin. In the early stages, gastrointestinal problems such as CRC, ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures may not show any visible symptoms, only occult blood. Traditional guaiac-based methods lack sensitivity and specificity, and also have diet restrictions prior to testing.
This One Step screening test is a rapid test for the detection of fecal occult blood.

What determines the One Step FOB test?
FOB Rapid Test Cassette detects human blood in faeces. The amount of blood increases as CRC, ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures progresses. Many diseases can cause hidden blood in the faeces. This is also known as Faecal Occult Blood (FOB), Human Occult Blood, or Human Haemoglobin. Traditional guaiac-based methods lack sensitivity and specificity, and also have diet restrictions prior to testing.
How is the presence of invisible blood detected?
The One Step screening test detects fecal occult blood at the level of 50ng/ml human haemoglobin or 6μg/g faeces. Unlike other guaiac assays, the accuracy of the test is not influenced by the diet of the patient. The One Step screening test contains anti-hemoglobin antibody particles and anti-hemoglobin antibodies applied to the membrane.
What is actually occult blood?
The blood in the stool can not be detected with the naked eye. Occult means "hidden" or "not visible". In medicine, for example, this term is used in the search for invisible blood in the stool, the "occult blood".
What to do if occult blood is in the stool?
Please consult with your family doctor for an accurate diagnosis and, if necessary, appropriate medical measures. Only the clarification by the doctor in combination with further examinations, a possible illness can be accurately diagnosed and treated.
